The One To Walk Away

This man walks tall and strong
Strait into her chambers
With all but desire
An intention to kill
For she took her life
The one that he was to love

This goddess of everything but beauty
In his eyes
Unable to let her go
But as he see's her
On her magnificence
The beauty of her
A true goddess of love

She beckons him to come forth
And as he does so
His intents slowly slip away
Engulfed by her total beauty

Her hand is held out
And he is to take
The tempting lust rising deeper within him
As he becomes harder and harder

She notices and smiles
A devious smile with harsh intentions
Pulling him to the bed
She makes sure he wants

Tugging at the sheets
They roll and love
With the most intimate of desire
His guard completely down
The knife that was used on his own love
Lay only under the satin pillows

One reaches for the knife
Knowing that neither of their intentions are pure
That one is to kill
And the other to betray

The light of day slipping away
From one
The blood dripping off the bed
And the lust disappears
With the one that walks away
